Louisville MEGA Cavern

I got an email recently from Trey Moreau at the Louisville Mega Cavern recently!  I took a trip there shortly after they opened and I loved it!  I really enjoyed my trip there.  Read my previous review and check out my photos!

In my original blog post, I mentioned that I expected the MEGA Cavern would grow and add stuff and they have!  I should be out there within the next month or so to check out the Zips!  That just sounds too cool!  The underground aerial (there's an oxymoron for ya!) course sounds interesting too!

Anyway, check out Trey's info on some of the new things going on at the MEGA Cavern......

I know you had visited the Louisville MEGA Cavern and wrote a blog review (http://kentuckytravels.blogspot.com/2009/08/louisville-mega-cavern.html) when the cavern first opened, but we have since added MEGA Zips, which is the world's first and only all underground zip lines and adventure tour. This tour features five zip lines and 3 challenge bridges that will certainly get your heart racing and adrenaline pumping. Our last zip is actually a fun-filled dual racing zip, which allows you to race against the person of your choice.

Additionally, we are anticipating the launch of our underground aerial course, which should be up and running by the Fall if all goes as planned. I'll be more than happy to supply you with that information once it becomes available. In case you are wondering what an aerial course is, it is basically a jungle gym with various challenges/obstacles. In our case, the obstacle course will be suspended from the ceiling and guests will have the option to purchase anywhere from a few hours to an entire day. This same room will also have the ability to be rented out for event/meeting space.

Have a great day and I hope to see you at the cavern soon.
