This was my first trip to Cumberland Falls in some time!
AND, this was the first time that I had a meal at the Lodge. The food was good, and man, is this place comfortable!
A lot of the Kentucky State Parks have nice looking lodges. They look exactly like you would expect a lodge to look. You know, if you were watching an old movie, and explorers go to the lodge to warm up after a cold December night of exploring in the woods. They look like that. Cozy.
And the falls....... Well, look at the photos.
I remember hiking all over this place years ago. There is actually a lot of access to the falls. There are rides out to the actual falls now.
