Borglum Bookends

When we visited the Black Hills in 2012, I saw that you could buy bookends actually sculpted by Gutzon Borglum!  He sculpted a set of four, one each of the Presidents on Mt. Rushmore.  He would give these bookends to friends.  The molds he made still exist, and bookends are still made from them!

Well, on this trip, I knew that I had to pick up a couple.  I actually budgeted a few bucks to get a Teddy and an Abe.  The famous sculptor's signature is molded in to the bookends.

I am absolutely thrilled to have these on my bookshelf.
