I try to avoid mentioning sports on this blog (mostly because I have my other baseball related blog).
It may be of interest to my reader(s) that Pete Rose Jr. is the new hitting coach for the Florence Freedom!
If you are not familiar with the Freedom, they are a minor league team in the northern part of the state, a little south of Cincinnati. They have a very relaxed and casual feel at their very family friendly park.
If you are a casual sports fan who is turned off by the big sports venues and pricey tickets, check out the Freedom. This is especially a good time to catch them, as they have a guy that has been around baseball literally all of his life.
