Hi, I am Jim, I love Kentucky, and traveling in and around Kentucky! I also love the entire country, and all of the beautiful and strange places here and there! This blog covers the overlooked, forgotten, and underrated places, people, and moments in history in America, with a focus on Kentucky!
It will cover great tourists stops, books about people and history, and include photos and postcard scans.

Newport River Cruise
A few months back we took a nice cruise down the Ohio! I forgot to put the pictures up earlier!
Newport and Cincinnati look spectacular at night!

Newport is an awesome place! I've been there once and I really want to go again. I enjoyed walking beside the Levees at night. There used to be a restaurant called Istanbul Cafe that served delicious lamb shanks. I think that it is closed in that location, but they opened somewhere else in Cincinnati.
