The Great Mound in Mound Cemetery- Marietta Ohio

There is something so fascinating about the old, mysterious mounds that you find peppered here and there.  They are so interesting.  And, luckily, there are still some around that have remained relatively untouched.....  We've been able to visit some of them.

And, while in Marietta, we stopped by to see the Mound in Mound Cemetery.  This is a great cemetery even without the cool mound (there are tons of old graves, many relating to the Revolutionary War), but it is all built up around the mound.
