For the third time in the same amount of visits, we stayed at the Hyatt Regency Savannah. We couldn't beat the rate AND it is in a perfect location. We were able to walk to a lot of places pretty easily.
I finally got around to reading the Savannah classic "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" and I thought it was interesting that this hotel is actually brought up in the book.
We noticed a lot of changes that have occurred here. We thought this place was pretty modern, but they have changed a lot since our last stay a few years ago. They had a very cool restaurant called Windows that is gone. The same area is now a nice, relaxing setting space with some great huge windows to look out and get some great river views. Their old gift shop area is gone, and a restaurant is there now.
We had a nice room with some great views from our window. This was the first time we have stayed over looking the park area, and not the river. ALL of the views are great.
Anyway, here are just a few random photos.
