Kelly Hopkinsville Encounter

Supposedly in 1955 some aliens attacked a home in the Hopkinsville area.

it is actually a very well documented case, and the witnesses seemed to stick to their story.

There are numerous web sites about the event (including a thorough wikipedia entry) so I won't go in to it here.

I will say that the previously mentioned Pennyroyal Area Museum has a nice display about the encounter, which happened just a few miles away.

The farm where the attack happened is on private property, but it is near by.

There is a festival celebrating the event too!
