One of my fave childhood memories! We often went here for breakfast on the weekends. My dad took us here a couple times for a weekend getaway so we could swim in their big pools. Lots of memories of sneaking me and the kids I babysit into the pools in the summer! And of course all of the many concerts we went to at the Big E!
Hey Stacey! I would love to hear about the concerts you saw there! I have a ton of memories from the Big E too. I miss it, but I am glad to see that downtown is becoming lively again!
The greatest thing ever to happen to Owensboro and local greed and power crushed it in favor of local citified entertainment. We had Vegas and now we have hootenannies.
