Savannah Coffee Roasters- Savannah Georgia

We remembered how much we enjoyed visiting Savannah Coffee Roasters on our last trip to Savannah, and we really wanted to make it there again while we were in town.

We ended up making this our out and about headquarters while we explored Savannah.  It is such a nice clean place that we found ourselves here a lot.  In fact, after our hotel, we spent the most time in Savannah at Savannah Coffee Roasters.

As we walked around town, we stopped here on three different occasions for a break.  We both enjoyed their coffee, and their good food.

We usually carry a small book on us, and we spent time reading here.  The staff is very friendly, and we had some nice conversations with the kind people running the show here.  I had a great conversation with a young lady making coffee about art.  She was sketching during her breaks, and her sketches were flawless.

AND, most importantly, Savannah Coffee Roasters has perfected the coffee shop.  The staff is friendly.  The place is clean.  They have people who take pride in their work working here.  PLUS, their food and drinks are , like I said, great.

I had what might be the best breakfast sandwich ever here (see photo).  The coffee is just right too.  I have mentioned here before that some nice coffee shops don't get their coffee just right.  It might be good, but its off a bit.

Savannah Coffee Roasters does NOT have that problem.  It was strong but not bitter.

I am partial (and biased) towards a couple of coffee shops here in my home state of Kentucky...  but Savannah Coffee Roasters is one of the most perfect coffee shops around.  I would easily put this place in my top 5 all time list.  The coffee they make is also in that top 5 list.  Savannah Coffee Roasters gets my highest possible recommendation.

I know there is a lot to see on a short visit to Savannah, but make sure you visit Savannah Coffee Roasters when you are in town.
