My brother-in-law who lives in Owenboro loves the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum in town. He took me there the other day.
Admission is an affordable $12, so you should check it out.
When we walked in we saw a mandolin lesson/practice session going on in the front!
We checked in and walked around the museum. There is a large room of instruments that you are encouraged to pick up and play! I thought that was a great feature! There was a young teenager playing guitar in the room that was incredible.
We walked through some displays on various musicians and saw some videos. The museum is big on videos, and you could spend a lot of time going through them all.
On the 2nd floor you can see the room with wall monuments to each inductee.
I love music, but I am honestly not that familiar with Bluegrass in general. Still, it was fun visiting the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
